Marisa  has been training dogs since her mid twenties.  Recently in 2024, she left the corporate world to pursue her passion and dedicate herself completely to The Liberated K9. She takes a compassionate, balanced approach to dog training, combining clear structure and a focus on the relationship.

Marisa believes in looking at the whole picture—your dog’s breed, personality, your lifestyle, and your goals—to create a custom training plan that works for both of you. Every dog and family is unique, and her mission is to help build lasting communication and trust that fits your individual needs.​ Marisa lives in Kirkland, Washington with her husband and two dogs; Kaiya and Jax.  During her free time, she loves the outdoors, and can be found enjoying the best of what the pacific northwest has to offer. ​
